Welcome to Jason on Everything

This is where I talk about the stuff I care about, games, music, movies, shows, and whatever else I feel like sharing. Sometimes it’s a review of a world famous movie, and sometimes it’s a rating of a taco recipe I found online.

Everything on here is just my opinion. I don’t expect everyone to agree with me, and honestly, that’s kind of the point. You might love something I can’t stand or hate something I think is great. That’s cool. I’m not here to be right. I’m just here to say what I think.

If you’ve got a different take or something to add, drop a comment. I’m all for a good back and forth, as long as it stays respectful. Friendly debates are way more fun than everyone nodding in agreement.

Thanks for checking out the site. Hope you find something here worth reading.

My Rating System

My rating system is pretty simple. Instead of messing around with numbers or percentages, I use a tier system for everything.

TierNameWhat It Means
S 🏆 Instant ClassicThe best of the best. Basically flawless. I’ll probably be talking about this forever.
A 🔥Great StuffReally solid. Might not be perfect, but it’s definitely worth checking out.
B 👀Worth a LookPretty good. Not amazing, but there’s something there to enjoy.
C 😐MidJust okay. Not great, not terrible. Just completely average.
D 🚫Not For MeDidn’t hit for me.
F 🗑️Absolute SkipStraight-up bad. Would not recommend it at all.

When I review albums, I like to break it down a bit more. Each song gets its own rating on a 1-5 scale:

StarsWhat It Means
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Banger – Iconic, repeat-worthy
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Great – Strong track, memorable
⭐️⭐️⭐️Good – Decent, worth a listen
⭐️⭐️Skippable – Meh, not much to say. Sometimes will listen, sometimes will skip
⭐️Trash – Hard pass, always skip

Songs can also get one of these symbols:

Favorite song: ❤️

Least Favorite Song: 💀

Most Popular Song: 📈

Then the album gets a tier based on the overall star collective:

If most of the songs are 4s and 5s, it’s an S or A Tier.

A mix of 3s and 4s? Probably a B Tier album.

Loaded with skips? C Tier or below.

Games, Movies, and Shows

These get rated on feel, experience, and execution, not just technical quality. If something reels me in, keeps me addicted, and feels like it set out to do? It’ll rank high. I’ll make sure to call out individual elements that impressed me (or didn’t), but the tier will reflect the full package.

  • Review: A Working Man (2025)
A Working Man dropped on March 28, 2025, and it is exactly what you would expect from a Jason Statham movie. It was directed by David Ayer and co-written by Sylvester Stallone. • My Platinum Journey
The first game I ever platinumed was Spider-Man 2018. It was actually the first game I played after switching from Xbox to PlayStation back in 2021. I don’t even really know why I went for the platinum. I just wanted to start off my trophy list strong. Once I finished that one, I figured I… Read more: My Platinum Journey
  • Review: Nirvana – Nevermind (1991)
Nevermind by Nirvana dropped on September 24th, 1991, and music was never the same after that. It came out under DGC Records and ended up blowing up way more than anyone expected. • A Bit About Me and this Site
I figured it’d be a good idea to write a quick About Me post now that I’ve got a few reviews up. Nothing too deep, just something to give people a little background about who I am, what this site is about, and the kind of stuff I like and don’t like. If someone finds… Read more: A Bit About Me and this Site
  • Why Red Dead Redemption 2 Is My Favorite Game of All Time
I first played Red Dead Redemption 2 in late December of 2018, not long after it came out. At the time, I didn’t really get the hype. After the first mission or two, I actually thought the story was kinda boring. It was slow, and nothing about it really pulled me in. So I ditched… Read more: Why Red Dead Redemption 2 Is My Favorite Game of All Time
